Oscar and I went to my cottage to get out of the city for a little bit. While we were there we did our normal sketching warm-ups before we did the assignment my dad assigned for us to do. My dad wanted us to do a dollhouse sketch for our cottage. This was one of the more challenging sketches we’ve done yet. We had to cut from the master bedroom on the top floor to the living room and then to the basement with the indoor basketball court.

 May 20 My Friday morning began with my departure from home and on to Toronto where I participated in a weekend of practices for the macabia basketball team. I made my way to the train station where I planned out what I was going to do during the 5-hour train ride. Firstly, I began the ride by sketching the floor plan of a train cart and was happy with what I was able to come up with after I was wrapped up with the final product. I then watched an hour and a half worth of Frank Gehry's master class. I learned a lot about architecture and the tedious process of perfecting an idea that can ultimately turn into something much bigger than one might think. Lastly, I spent the remainder of the train ride sketching potential architectural masterpieces and watching videos on how an architect thinks when beginning a project. 5 hours
